| With the early spring weather, the final National Event at Horseshoe Valley resort had to be cancelled. Royal-Rockstar's Lee Butler held a commanding lead in the National Pro Stock Standings. Butler was tied in Points with Iain Hayden in the National Pro Open standings. Due to the fact that Lee had two National victories to Hayden's one, Lee Was declared the Open National Champion. Lee and the entire team would have preferred to settle the Championship on the racetrack, but the weather would not co-operate. Lee took some injury licks this season and rode through them to the titles and numerous moto and final wins and podiums. |
