If you’re an avid Snowmobiler in North America, I’m with you! We at OSM worked very hard  this season, and with minimal snow and warm weather in parts of North America, it made for somewhat of a trying year. All in all, me and all of us from OSM, as well as most true snowmobilers, made it work. I have ridden some of the 43,000 kilometer (26,000 miles) inner connected trails in Ontario and the true winter paradise of Quebec. I have met some of the most amazing, enthusiastic snowmobilers in the world while venturing Chris Brandt’s Back Country Adventure at 12,000 feet in the Colorado Mountains, touring the Atlantic Provinces Snowmobile super highways, or spending the week with Joe Parson and others at SNOWSHOOT 2010 in breathtaking West Yellowstone, Montana.

I have noticed the trend has turned more and more over the past few years towards Suspension with Fox Air Float front suspension. For the 2011 season, Yamaha will release the first OEM Fox Float Rear Suspension. The aftermarket companies have tested and proved the air ride suspension in the mountains. We at OSM had the opportunity to be the official test rider of TOM’S SNOWMOBILE, with the most technologically advanced “EVOULTION AIR” FOX FLOAT, all air aftermarket rear suspension for Ski-Doo’s 2008-2011 XP 120 inch, and the 137 inch Renegade. Working hand-in-hand with TOM’S SNOWMOBILES and SHOCK IT Suspension, we were calibrating the Evolution Air suspension for the trail riding and the flat lands. With Fox’s unique anti-bottoming out shock and the 120 inch coming in 6 pounds lighter, suspension is surpassing my expectation once again.
